Top Three Science Fair Project Choices

The Design Process: Creating a Stronger Truss
I chose this as one of my top three science fair project choices because it is an interesting project that explores which geometrical shapes make the strongest bridge truss structures. I am interested in this project because I want to learn how bridges are built and how weight is distributed evenly through them.

Which Wing Design Creates the Greatest Lift?
I chose this as one of my top three science fair project choices because I have always wondered how such a big machine manages to get off the ground and fly for several hours. It still amazes me when i see an airplane up in the sky even though I see them almost every day.

Aerodynamics of a Football
I chose this as one of my top three science fair project choices because I have loved playing football since I was very young. I have always wondered how much difference the spiraling motion of a well-thrown football makes on the distance of the throw compared to a wobbling, or an end-over-end motion of the ball.
